It is a gentle first number-code for younger students because there is no shifting or memorising: just count from the end of the alphabet. How to use this worksheet

This code numbers the alphabet backwards: A=26, B=25, C=24, and so on down to Z=1. To encode, replace each letter with its backwards number. To decode, find the letter for each number. Use the reference strip if you get stuck.
